A hybrid meeting is being organized in Brussels on November 27th, where more than 30 companies that have expressed their interest will come together to agree on the cornerstones of the future statutes. This inclusive workshop will refine the statutes and address any outstanding questions or challenges in a collaborative and open way. EUFBA continues to welcome expressions of interest from those who wish to join this working group (info@eufba.eu) The definition of the statutes will represent a major milestone and will be designed to reflect the interests of all stakeholders across the fusion value chain, from suppliers to companies involved in the construction of fusion power plants. They will ensure the representativeness and common interests of the entire fusion sector. The association is planned to be established in Brussels under Belgian law, and preliminary discussions have explored legal options for drafting statutes that uphold principles of transparency, inclusivity, and balanced democratic governance, ensuring the industry itself takes the lead. Once the statutes are finalized, a General Assembly will be convened, welcoming the participation of all interested stakeholders in the fusion sector. EUFBA’s core mission is to ensure that every part of the supply chain, as well as companies planning to build fusion power plants, play a vital role in driving the growth of fusion energy as a clean and safe alternative to fossil fuels. Through collaboration and innovation across the value chain, EUFBA aims to strengthen and maintain Europe’s leadership in the global journey toward fusion. EUFBA Team

  • 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲: 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗨 𝗙𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Yesterday, over 100 participants representing companies from 10 European countries came together to discuss the creation of an EU Fusion Business Association during a hybrid meeting hosted at the premises of Fusion for Energy (F4E). The meeting provided an open and productive platform for dialogue, where participants focused on defining the association's core principles. By the end of the session, three essential pillars were agreed: transparency and inclusivity from the beginning, balanced democratic governance, and leadership driven by the industry itself. These foundational elements, emphasizing inclusivity from the start, are crucial to ensure fair representation and active involvement, making the association a true representative voice for the industry. The meeting concluded with a consensus to form a dedicated working group to establish the foundational framework for the EU Fusion Business Association. Most participants expressed their interest in joining this future group to define the Association’s structure, objectives, and membership criteria, ensuring that the agreed-upon principles are effectively implemented. The EU Fusion Business Association will be established to unify the interests of companies and work collaboratively with all stakeholders in the European fusion ecosystem. Its goals will include strengthening the supply chain and partnering with emerging private fusion initiatives, ensuring that Europe maintains its technological leadership in fusion technology. Through collective effort and strategic collaboration and driven by technology, the association will aim to steer innovation and secure a competitive edge for Europe in the global fusion market. If you want to commit to this initiative and be an active part of the working group, email us before July 5th at info@eufba.eu #association #fusion #business #fusionbusiness #fusionindustry #industry
