Both architects and researchers at Delft University of Technology, they share a deep passion for façade design and believe that “façade design is an evolving discipline that has become a key factor in building performance. With façades accounting for 20-30% of total building costs and playing a crucial role in energy efficiency, the industry has seen rapid growth in innovation, education, and research”. Ulrich Knaack is a Professor of Design of Construction at TU Delft and Facade Technology at TU Darmstadt.  Thaleia Konstantinou is an Assistant Professor of Building Product Innovation at TU Delft.
