PRODIGE-7 trial results have led to a reduction in the use of HIPEC with Oxaliplatin in ColoRectal Peritoneal Metastases (CRPM). Our study evaluates outcomes for CRPM patients undergoing CRS+HIPEC with Oxaliplatin (Ox) 368mg/m2 (30 min), versus Mitomycin C (MMC) 35mg/m2 (90min). Highlights are: 1. Oxaliplatin HIPEC has a significant benefit on peritoneal recurrence-free survival. 2. There is a trend to better overall survival with Oxaliplatin HIPEC in some patients. Happy to share our just-published article about Education and Training in Peritoneal Surface Oncology. It features the renewed Strategic Vision. Mission and Core Values of the European School of Peritoneal Surface Oncology (ESPSO). A new era ahead of us with a special focus on providing access to all colleagues interested in Peritoneal Surface Oncology training and international outreach, to make sure that every PSM patient has the expert assessment and treatment he/she deserves, regardless of where they live.

A great event hosted at a great venue! The 14th international congress PSOGI/ISSPP came to a close on Saturday with a whopping 594 participants representing all 6 continents, 86 speakers and 19 exhibitors. -For the first time, the Peritoneal Surface Oncology Group International (PSOGI), the society that was responsible for developing the field of peritoneal surface oncology across the globe and the ISSPP e.V. | International Society for the Study of Pleura and Peritoneum, a new society, focussed on the multidisciplinary management of peritoneal malignancies and new intraperitoneal treatments, joined forces to organise a common world congress. -For the first time, European Society of Gynaecological Oncology was part of the even with a common consensus on peritonectomy procedures and iconic gynecologic oncologists contributing to a spectacular session on ovarian cancer - For the first time, the meeting spanned three whole days and the audience listened with rapt attention till the very end of the sessions -For the first time, not few but many iconic medical oncologists participated in the meeting with truly multidisciplinary discussions on the management of the difficult to treat malignancies like colorectal and gastric peritoneal metastases 🎖 Thanks to the brilliant planning and organisation by Olivier Glehen Vahan KEPENEKIAN Laurent Villeneuve Pascal Rousset Naoual Bakrin Frédéric Bibeau Marc Pocard Julien Peron the conference was a huge success 🎖 Thanks to all the speakers and delegates who were responsible for the high scientific level of the meeting 🎖 Thanks to all the sponsors that made the meeting possible Gamida Ltd.
