EXA4MIND at #EUDATConference24 🚀 Last week, Jan Martinovič, EXA4MIND project coordinator, and Martin Golasowski, WP1 leader, both from IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center, and Mohamad Hayek from Leibniz Supercomputing Centre and EXA4MIND WP2 leader, participated in a session focusing on novel approaches to data orchestration across different database systems and traditional file-based storage, as explored in the EXA4MIND project. ➡ Have you visited the #EUDATConference2024 in Karlsruhe this week? 👀 And have you attended the session "Strengthening Connections Between HPC and Data Management Solutions & Data Orchestration"? No❓ 👨🔬👨🔬 Martin Golasowski and Jan Martinovič from IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center led the session "Strengthening Connections Between HPC and Data Management Solutions & Data Orchestration", which provided a concise overview of issues in data management utilising #HPC. Martin Golasowski explained data management from an HPC point of view and introduced the LEXIS Platform 2, mentioning the OpenWebSearch.eu and the Ligate Project as example use cases. Philippe Deniel from Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives presented the outcomes from the IO-SEA project for the European software storage stack, and Mohamad Hayek from Leibniz Supercomputing Centre explored Distributed Data Space Management in the EXA4MIND project.
