As we near the end of 2023, gratitude abounds for our many supporters, and glimmers of hope surround us in the midst of a world in turmoil. Amid many changes, our driving mission is clearer than ever: we are working toward a world where everyone can do the work of theology for themselves. We believe theological education is a social justice issue, and access to working out why we believe what we believe is a fundamental human right. Your continued support has been the cornerstone of our success and growth. In this season of longing for a more just world, we are grateful for friends and partners like you.

Meet our worship & prayer guides: Kinship Commons! Kinship Commons creates experiential and transformative gatherings toward the flourishing of marginalized people. Started by four women of color, they are passionate about expanding imagination, integrating multiple traditions and cultivating new ways of being that are life-giving, healing, and generative. They seek to lead people toward kinship with one another and with God. Kinship Commons was thoughtfully and lovingly founded by four women of color, Dr. Tamisha Tyler, Jennifer Guerra Aldana, Angie Hong, and Julie Tai. Each co-founder brought in their expertise, creativity, and curiosities to imagine how a collective of artist could curate and design gatherings that offered glimpses of a new world. Angie and Julie took those imaginations and established this company as Co-Directors while Tamisha and Jennifer continue in advisory roles.
