Have employees? Here's exciting news: EPIC, Executives Partnering to Invest in Children and U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation just launched a free new tool for employers. The Employer Child Care Navigator helps you easily (in 3 minutes) and beautifully (thanks to The Holding Co.) identify the most effective ways that your company can offer child care solutions for your employees. Because as data from Moms First, Vivvi, and Joseph Fuller Harvard Business School have all shown: investing in caregiving benefits is good for business. Give it a whirl and let Stephanie Itelman know what you think! #employerchildcarenavigator #ECCN #childcaresolutions

We started our startup journey knowing that the only thing constant was change... We’ve learned there’s another constant and perhaps what I think is most important...Gratitude! Gratitude for a mission that inspires me to get out of bed every day Gratitude for working alongside someone smarter and wiser than me Anubha C. Gratitude for our advisors Dr. Karen Watts, Dr. Sowmya who have trusted our mission Gratitude for all the incredible people who did not know us—healthcare attorneys, physicians, and care businesses—yet returned our calls and messages providing valuable insights Gratitude for product innovators, college students, and care professionals who participated in our pilot Gratitude for being accepted into FamTech.org, nation’s only technology association focused exclusively on the needs of innovators and partners And gratitude for friends and family whose unwavering support means everything Gratitude isn’t just a feeling—it’s the fuel for our journey, helping us push forward despite the challenges From the spark of an idea to the impact we are having, our story has been shaped by every person, insight, and ounce of support along the way. With this spirit, join us in celebrating our journey as we share SeniorX AI’s progress and our vision for the future #Gratitude #HomeHealthCare #eldertech #agetech #Innovation #seniors #AITechnology

At FamTech.org, we’re inspired by the power of technology councils like Technology Councils of North America (TECNA) to drive innovation and collaboration across regions. The opportunity to partner with these dynamic organizations is immense, together, we can accelerate solutions that not only transform industries but also tackle critical challenges in the Care Economy. Thank you Jennifer Young and team for gatherings like the TECNA CEO Retreat that bring together leaders to spark ideas and build connections. Excited for what’s to come!
We had a wonderful time this week in Nashville for our 2024 TECNA CEO Retreat hosted by TECNA member, Greater Nashville Technology Council at their Tech Hill Commons. We were especially pleased to welcome Nashville’s Mayor, Freddie O'Connell, who spoke with our member CEOs and Executive Directors who each lead tech associations/councils/tech hubs across North America. A special Thank You to Nashville Technology Council’s Elise Cambournac and Alex Curtis along with our TECNA CEO Retreat Partners NorthGuide, Apprenti and Portalus. You've heard the term “flow state,” right? The general feeling or state of mind where you become fully immersed in, and totally focused on, what you are doing. That's where I was earlier this week at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's National Child Care Innovation Summit: Business Leaders in Action. Flow state. Pages upon pages of notes, most of them meaning something only to me, the text getting squeezed into corners. Not just because the speakers were brilliant and passionate (they were) and not just because my family and my work are currently powered by formal child care (they are) but because of the connections I see with the passage of time... in other words, aging. Here are some questions I was tossing around and asking my neighbors: 1️⃣ What does "child care" look like as younger children and adults who love and care for them age into older (even adult) children and older (even old) adults who love and care for them? ... à la this AARP report: https://lnkd.in/egxQntQg 2️⃣ How can and must employers show up for employees right smack in the "midlife squeeze," caring for multiple generations of family members at home and often multiple layers of staff at work? 3️⃣ What might calls-to-action for employers be if we were to frame "child care" as the evolving set of roles and responsibilities that it truly is? Thank you to Aaron Merchen, Nicole Riehl, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and EPIC, Executives Partnering to Invest in Children for the inspiration!
