Great!!! In Fit4Micro Project WP4 IRRGT Humidified Micro Gas Turbine is focused on the development of a very high #efficiency two-stage #microturbine implementing a novel #Intercooled Regenerative #Reheat #Gas #Turbine thermodynamic cycle. The microturbine will be coupled to a humidification technique to further enhance the thermodynamic efficiency and increase the flexibility of the #heat/power ratio. 👉 for further information, visit the project website: https://lnkd.in/dqVUQXDQ
🎄✨ Happy as a child on Christmas morning, finally receiving my presents! That’s exactly how I felt this week. 🎉 On Wednesday, we received our third #microgasturbine (MGT)—the Micro-20 from MITIS. This unit is a double-shaft, #intercooled, #recuperated, #reheat cycle turbine, and it's the first-ever constructed unit of its kind! With this advanced layout, the Micro-20 achieves high nominal and part-load efficiencies, making it a strong competitor in the small-scale #cogeneration market ⚙️🔥. At the Thermal Engineering and Combustion Research Unit of UMONS, we aim to push its efficiency even further through cycle #humidification within the Fit4Micro Project 💡. This humidification will not only enhance efficiency but also provide a flexible heat-to-power ratio, a crucial feature for staying competitive in the future energy market ⚡🌍. This unit completes our fleet of two existing MGTs and will be officially unveiled during our inauguration event on March 20, 2025. 📅 If you haven't registered yet—there's still time! 🔥🔧 https://lnkd.in/eT6fVDG8
