One of the most exciting parts of being an Ergonomics Specialist at Fit For Work is the chance to work alongside clients in unique industrial environments. Alison Wu and Rupert Edwards recently took on an ergonomics project in the North Slope of Alaska. They flew into Anchorage, AK, and then hopped on another plane to reach the North Slope. During the flight, they evaluated the pilots and the in-flight crew. Rupert had the chance to sit in the jump seat with the pilot, while Alison focused on assessing the in-flight crew. Over the next week, they assessed various job tasks at client facilities, collecting valuable data to help create post-offer employment testing. Kudos to Alison and Rupert for their outstanding work in ensuring job candidates can safely perform essential tasks. #EmployeeSpotlight #Ergonomics #InjuryPrevention

✨Employee Shout Out: Celebrating Our Team's Impact! ✨ Fit For Work would like to recognize recent client feedback highlighting the outstanding contributions of several employees. "We’ve been working with Fit For Work for several months and are extremely satisfied with the support provided by Injury Prevention Specialist, Andrew Summerlin, LAT, ATC, along with Holly Walicek, Area Manager, and Karen Guhl, Customer Experience Rep. Andrew has been well-received by our production employees, offering one-on-one consultations for both work-related and non-work-related muscle aches. It’s still early to fully assess the program’s overall impact in our facility, but we’re very pleased to have them here and confident that the results in injury reduction and related costs will far outweigh the investment in recruiting them."— FFW Client Keep up the great work, team! #EmployeeSpotlight #InjuryPrevention #Teamwork

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are one of the most disabling and costly conditions in the workforce, leading to muscle strains, neck pain, low back injuries, and more. These injuries often result from physically demanding tasks like heavy lifting, reaching overhead, and bending. But here’s the good news: Wearable technology is now helping to reduce the risk of MSDs on the job. These innovative devices provide support and protection to minimize injuries and improve overall workplace safety. 💡 Want to know more about the types of wearables, their benefits, and how they help prevent injuries?
