In 1989, FLOMEC was established under Trimec Industries Pty Ltd in Australia when it introduced the groundbreaking MP piston meter. The brand grew to be a prominent manufacturer serving Europe and Asia. In 2013, Great Plains Industries purchased Trimec and channeled FLOMEC product offerings even further throughout a North and South America distributor network. FLOMEC flow meters measure a variety of fluids such as water, gasoline, chemicals, dairy, engine oils, transmission fluids, and various industrial liquids. FLOMEC products serve industries including the food and beverage, chemical, cosmetic, irrigation, HVAC, pharmaceutical, paint, petroleum, and additive industries.
