When we formed Friend of Chef it was based on the belief that Chefs, Restaurateurs, and Hospitality Professionals need a voice, need a group of people that care about the longevity of the industry and the health and well being of the people that devote their lives to it. Over the years we began to work with the best Developers, Hoteliers, Thinkers, Dreamers, and Hospitality Professionals in the world. Along the way, we drew our inspiration from the Creative Directors, Chefs, GMs, F&B Directors, Architects and Leaders. This inspiration laid the groundwork for the restaurants that we love, where we meet our loved ones, where we have our meetings and celebrations and where we see our friends. We have been lucky enough in these pursuits to spend time with Industry legends and to learn from them and share with them. One of our best friends, provided us with a simple rule that governs our decision making, "You can't do a Good Deal with Bad People and You can't do a Bad Deal with Good People". I later found out that he took this quote from another legend and that only makes this rule Non-Negotiable for us (Thank you Buddy). Today we welcome a new Partner to the FOC Family, someone who is helping us re-think the way we work, the way we look inward and outward. Someone who loves this World more than anyone we know.
