So far, this awesome team has used Follo to coordinate 567 deliveries 🚚, 29 crane picks 🏗️, and 64 concrete placements 🦺.

Techstars San Diego powered by San Diego State University demo day was a resounding success, marking the culmination of a transformative journey for Follo, Inc.. The program may have ended quickly, but it's just the start of Follo, Inc. 's future in the construction industry. Exciting developments lie ahead as Follo aims to establish itself as a key player in the construction industry. The collaborative spirit and support from dedicated mentors, investors, and fellow founders have been instrumental in shaping our path forward. A heartfelt thank you to Ryan Kuder , Morgan Spenla, Benton Moore, and Daniel Huss for their invaluable guidance and mentorship throughout our Techstars experience. Gratitude also extends to all other mentors who contributed their time and expertise to our growth. Special appreciation goes to Cathy Pucher, Hala Madanat, and Andy Ballester for their efforts in bringing this program to fruition at SDSU. Follo attended Trimble Inc. Dimensions 3D Base Camp earlier this week in Las Vegas, currently attending Greenbuild International Conference & Expo conference in Philly to finish off the week, and we are making many connections in the construction tech investor world (in prepartion of our Q1 2025 investor raise), not to mention, being able to nurture some important relationships of our customer base to propel the business upward and onward. A major highlight of the day was presenting Follo's carbon tracking capabilities specifically for our general contractors. Let's delve into California's SB-253/261 and their implications for contractors managing bustling job sites! Starting in 2026, contractors generating $1B in revenue must report their Scope 1 and 2 emissions based on 2025 data. By 2027, reporting Scope 3 emissions becomes mandatory. What does this mean for your business? - Scope 1 entails direct emissions by the General Contractor (GC) like those from vehicle fleets, owned equipment, onsite fuel burn, and more. - Scope 2 covers indirect emissions such as purchased energy (e.g., Utilities). - Scope 3 addresses indirect emissions from the GC's value chain, including subcontractor emissions on your project.
