🌍 𝑱𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑨𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂! ✍️ We are proud to announce the signing of a 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 between FoodSafety4Africa and FCI4Africa, two groundbreaking EU-funded initiatives championing #FoodSafety, sustainability, and #FairTrade across Africa. 🌱 𝗙𝗦𝟰𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 focuses on transforming food safety systems across Africa, with a special emphasis on the informal sector, while 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝟰𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 promotes sustainable, climate-neutral, and health-conscious food systems. ✨ This milestone made possible thanks to the two projects' coordinating partner International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), underscores the power of synergy in tackling the multifaceted challenges in African food systems. 🌍 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮! 🌱 On October 9th, FoodSafety4Africa's partner CSIR-Science and Technology Policy Research Institute engaged with key food safety stakeholders for an insightful workshop in Ghana. 👥 The workshop included a stakeholder 𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 exercise to identify and understand the roles of major players across the food safety landscape, including both formal and informal value chain actors. 🍎 This collaborative effort aimed to boost #FoodSafety, fortify 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, and promote sustainable 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 while safeguarding our environment and biodiversity. 🍃 Together, we’re paving the way for a safer, healthier, and more resilient food future across Africa! #SustainableAfrica #OneHealth #HorizonEU #ResearchImpactEU
