We've been on a hiatus, but coming soon is a new analysis: NFL QB Draftees: Pressure Profile Understanding that a QB's performance under pressure is highly volatile (year-over-year, let alone from NCAA to NFL), we're searching for causal data overlooked by publications to investigate HOW a QB handles pressure (vs. performance outcomes). *We aim to compare this with recent and current NFL QBs to better understand a QB's NFL transition. Think: How does this QB manage pressure? Compared to peers, and considering the magnitude of pressure and defenses faced, is he a true scrambler? Does he opt for checkdowns? When making a throw, does his throw go beyond the sticks? How often does he take a sack, which is more within his control (i.e., pressure to sack ratio for QBs vs. OL controlling more of Dropback-to-pressure ratio)?
