#NYFW is just around the corner, and over recent years, it has become a masterclass in using events to promote a brand, its products, visions for the future, and partnerships. Brands outside the fashion industry are now capitalizing on NYFW audiences, finding unique ways to partner with stores, designers, and fashion houses to reach new audiences. This past year, we loved seeing brands like Hennessy, Dunkin', and Adobe, become fashion-centric for the week by partnering with designers like 3.1 Phillip Lim, LoveShackFancy, and Christian Cowan. Today, we’re looking back at the details of one of our favorite Forbes Functions moments: the launch party for Baked by Melissa's cookbook, Come Hungry! At Forbes Functions, it's the small touches that make a big impact. So, we added a ton of little details that brought attendees into Melissa Ben-Ishay’s world for the night. 1️⃣ Guests chose Melissa-inspired patches and embroidery to add to Hedley & Bennett aprons (thanks to Klein Designs)! 2️⃣ We created Melissa’s Market: a marketplace where guests could ‘shop’ for Melissa’s favorites like Graza, Hu, OXO, and fresh produce from FreshDirect.
