For the third year in a row, The Foster Alliance was thrilled to be able to support Arizona Department of Child Safety by providing bikes to children in foster care on the DCS Giving Tree. This year, the amazing team at Desert Financial Credit Union stepped up and covered over 400 bikes! This partnership was an amazing example of how children in foster care win when we all work together! 💙

Thank you to the amazing team at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona for helping to bring big joy to children in foster care this holiday season! They generously built and donated 500 self-care stockings for foster teens, hosted a holiday toy drive, and volunteered at our Holiday Toy Fest to help foster families pick out the perfect presents! 🎁 This holiday season would not have been possible without the support of incredible #FosterAlly partners like AZ Blue. 💙

Recently, we had the chance to talk with a foster mom we will call ‘Sharon’. Four years ago, she received a call from The Department of Child Safety urging her to open her home to her infant grandson, ‘Baby B’. Over the last four years, TFA has been a trusted friend and partner to Sharon and her family. As they have picked up essentials (diapers, formula, cloths, etc.) at TFA’s Phoenix Resource Center, we have watched Baby B grow. He’s now filled with love, joy, and excitement for the world around him.   That is why TFA is here - to help foster families say, “Yes” when they get that call. Santa sent his elves at Sundt Construction again this year to help spread holiday joy to children in foster care!
