RMHC of the Southwest is only able to provide a home away from home for families who have a child receiving medical care because of our amazing community. We are so grateful to the amazing people who give their time, talent, and treasure to RMHC’s mission. This year, we’ll be celebrating all our partners in #KeepingFamiliesClose at our Thanks for Giving Luncheon on November 12th. Our Talent Awards goes to individuals and group who have dedicated themselves to using their talents and skill to their time to RMHC of the Southwest. Our recipients for 2024 are: Whiting-Turner Contracting Company: If you've been to the House lately, you've noticed our bright new doors! Whiting-Turner have donated their talent to help freshen up the House. From our new business center to repainting the doors, Whiting -Turner donated over 360 hours of labor and all the material, to make our house look brighter and better. Hilcrest Ladies Sewing Group: This group has been using their talents to become surrogate aunts and grandmas to our littlest guests. Since 2018, the Hillcrest Ladies Sewing Group has been donating homemade blankets and stuffed bears to the families in our House as well as our Family Rooms. In 2024, they have provided over 150 blankets and bear sets to RMHC. Garrett Kennedy: Garrett is always ready to great others with a smile and a high-five. Garrett uses his love for our mission and his stellar personality to raise awareness and support for the needs of our children and families. He has served on several of our event committees and raised thousands of dollars to further our cause. If you know Garrett, then you know us, because he is always sharing his passion for RMHC and the families we serve. Fused Graphics Group: Have you seen the beautiful wrap on our new shuttle bus? It's thanks to our friends at Fused. They take care of many of our printing and mailing needs, and they have been so be so gracious and have blessed us through many discounted and donated items. The owner, Michael White, has put together a talented staff and we are thankful for all of them!
