Our portfolio company, GR Water Solutions, has just acquired QGS Química, based in Sapucaia do Sul (RS), further expanding its presence in the water treatment sector in Southern Brazil. This acquisition strengthens GR Water Solutions’ position in the Rio Grande do Sul market, with plans to grow QGS Química’s team from 25 to 50 employees. One of our portfolio companies, Automa, a specialist in solutions to enhance energy efficiency through automation, has officially expanded to Europe this month. Its operational base is located in Porto, Portugal, and the company is already working on solar energy projects in France and Poland. We’re confident this is just the beginning! For those who don’t know, Automa manages 40GW of Brazil's electrical system, representing 23% of the country's installed capacity. To form a relationship or feel an affinity.    There’s a reason we chose this as the theme for our first U.S. Annual General Meeting last week. As Daniel Prawda said in his introductory remarks, “We want to provide transparency and openness as you learn more about our team, our portfolio company management, and each other.” Our team delivered on this purpose through detailed presentations by each portfolio company, intimate round table Q&A sessions, and small group activities to connect with the environment.    We are grateful to our limited partners and investors who traveled from all over the world to join us, showing their commitment to our Fund, our people, and our vision.     The dedication of our team, who worked tirelessly to put all the pieces together, was what gave us the greatest source of pride.
