🌟Empowering growth. Encouraging bold ideas. Celebrating impact.🌟 At #GenserEnergy, we believe in creating opportunities for our people to thrive and make a difference. Today we're sharing the story of Ofosuhemaa Bentil, one of our trainees, who was selected to join over 100 changemakers at the The Earthshot Prize Youth Programme in Cape Town. There, she took part in high-level discussions with global leaders, hands-on masterclasses, and explored innovative solutions to sustainability challenges - all while gaining fresh insights to share with her colleagues and her community. Ofosuhemaa's experience is a reminder of what's possible when young professionals are empowered with the tools and guidance to succeed. Her dedication to sustainability and innovation inspires us all to think big and strive for a brighter future.

At #GenserEnergy, we believe practical learning is key to developing local talent and investing in the future of energy. We recently welcomed Engineering students from University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa (UMaT) to our Receiving and Regulating Station in Prestea, where they explored the role our pipeline network plays in power generation. The training, led by Korshiwor Atsiku-Dogbatsey, our Shift Charge Engineer and proud UMaT graduate, offered valuable hands-on insights, highlighting our commitment to education and skills development. Were you part of the tour? Let us know in the comments what your favourite part of the experience was!

We were thrilled to join the Society Of Petroleum Engineers (SPE UMaT-Chapter) in celebrating their 10th anniversary and first-ever Career Fair. Held on 16 August at the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa under the theme "Empowering the Next Generation: Innovating for a Sustainable Energy Future", the event was a great opportunity for us to engage with students, share industry insights and explore career paths in the energy sector together. During a panel discussion on empowering the next generation, Tometta Bright-Davies, Senior Business Development Associate, emphasized the importance of developing transferable skills and encouraged students, especially women, to explore diverse career opportunities within the industry. Henry Abeiku Oppong, Vice President Operations: Natural Gas Pipeline, shared his #GenserEnergy journey from National Service Personnel to Vice President, highlighting the value of cultural adaptability and effective communication. Our HR and Administration colleagues Paulo Agamah and Christyne Adedey Pampoe provided practical tips on crafting standout job applications and navigating a career in the energy sector. We were also pleased to have Ebenezer Adu Asare join us at the Career Fair, representing SEO Africa, our recruitment partner for our Graduate Trainee Programme. Genser Energy is proud to support initiatives that foster educational growth and professional development. Many thanks to #SPEUMaT for hosting us.
