On Friday, we kicked off the Fall Clays Classic with a welcome return to beautiful Garland Mountain. It was a chilly but great day of fun and friendly competition! Everyone came together to support Feed My Starving Children, and thanks to the generosity of our participants, sponsors, and supporters, we made a meaningful impact. We couldn't let this week come to a close without a moment for this! What an incredible couple of days we had at the 10th Annual Golf Invitational and Ladies Par 3 Challenge! With blue skies all around at Grand National in Opelika, AL, we could not have asked for a more perfect day for golf, fellowship, and fundraising! We don’t have the final numbers just yet – but thanks to the generosity of our amazing sponsors and participants, we raised much-needed funds for three incredible organizations: Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, EB Research Partnership, and Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer.  A huge THANK YOU to our sponsors ( ECS Group of Companies, Lighting Associates, Inc., Gainesville Mechanical, Inc., OxBlue, Mingledorff's, Cox & Company, LLC, CWC Office Furniture, Contract Lumber, Inc., Miller & Martin PLLC, and Corgan) for your contributions and for making this event possible. This past Saturday, Georgia BUILT was honored to host over 150 patients and their families from the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for a fun-filled day packed with super-star power! Our guests experienced an unforgettable day, playing football with friends, meeting all-star athletes, and completing a scavenger hunt. The DJ had everyone dancing and singing, and families participated in creating their own pom poms and personalized jerseys.  Thank you to all who volunteered your time and our Georgia BUILT members who sponsored this event to make it a huge success!
