We’re looking forward to 2025! Thanks@alexlahmeyer
In the spirit of building in public, here’s a recap of this year’s wins/misses for my business and what you can expect from me in 2025: WINS 😊 ▪ Made a full pivot into the fractional world ▪ Spoke at the Diversity Leadership Alliance's annual conference ▪ Completed 17 free and pay-what-you-want sessions with job seekers ▪ Formalized my coaching practice and started offering packages ▪ Selected by Culture Amp for their inaugural Culture Champions program ▪ Got featured in two Fast Company articles ▪ Joined Fractional People People for community support and guidance ▪ Met tons of fellow LGBTQ+ professionals through Golden Gate Business Association, Out in Tech, and Out Professionals MISSES 😬 ▪ Didn’t hit most of the various revenue goals I set throughout the year ▪ Burned out on writing LinkedIn content, which hurt my coaching sales ▪ Prioritized poorly and wasted a ton of time fiddling with unimportant things ▪ Several partnerships stalled in the ideation/planning stage ▪ I couldn’t afford to take a real vacation or treat myself to something nice I’ve been grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, and I’m also looking at how I can approach things differently next year. It’s been a rollercoaster, to say the least. Given the incoming U.S. administration and the sociopolitical climate, next year won't be any easier. I remain committed to centering the needs of marginalized folks in my work. While I’m still finalizing my 2025 offerings for Boundless Arc, I can confidently say that I will be: ▪ Facilitating workshops to help teams build the muscles for inclusive collaboration (new service!) ▪ Helping organizations operationalize equity and inclusion as a fractional leader and advisor ▪ Coaching LGBTQ+ professionals and allies as they navigate pivotal career moments I’ll be taking some much-needed time off soon so I can hit the ground running in January. Looking forward to family time, hobby time, and plenty of video games. We all need a little joy and rest right now. Hope you and your loved ones get the spaciousness you deserve.✌️ #diversityequityinclusion #dei #deib
