Every year, at Veterans Day, we pause and honor the brave men and women who have dedicated themselves to serving in the US armed forces. This day of remembrance and gratitude has its roots in Armistice Day, which commemorated the end of World War I on November 11, 1918, at 11:00 AM. Through the passage of time, the number of veterans from World War II has sadly diminished. In 2024, only approximately 100,000 of these valiant individuals remain with us, a stark reminder of the urgency to cherish and listen to their incredible stories. Sadly, it is anticipated that by D-Day 2025, this number will further decline, emphasizing the importance of honoring their legacy now. To all soldiers, past and present, we extend our deepest thanks for the safety and freedom we enjoy today. This Veterans Day, we express our heartfelt gratitude to the millions who have served and continue to serve our nation, including those among our Giroux Glass family.
