Glasgow fans get set for the return of WWE WWE has confirmed how fans can get tickets for their return to Scotland in 2025. The company’s flagship show will come to the OVO Hydro on Monday the 24th of March as part of their 11 city Road to WrestleMania European tour. This will be the first time Raw has emanated from Glasgow since 2016. Pre sale will start at 9am on the 11th of December with general sale beginning on the 13th of December. Now a boy born in Glasgow between 2021 & 2023 is likely to live 73.6 years as opposed to 73.1 years for a boy born in Blackpool. However the city still has the lowest life expectancy for women. Several men appear in court following police raid Six men aged between 28 & 37 are set to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court today charged in connection with involvement in organised crime. A 29-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were released pending further enquiries. Last Friday, officers executed 13 warrants across four divisions on as part of an investigation into alleged organised crime and drugs offences, attending addresses in Glasgow, Cambuslang, Gartcosh, Barrhead, Renfrew and Saltcoats. More pensioners in Glasgow are relying on Foodbanks Glasgow South West Foodbank has joined the Glasgow Times Bank on Us appeal to help feed people struggling in the city as demand grows. This is the sixth year in a row the campaign has been run to help food banks across the city. The Foodbank has seen influx in elderly people using their service for the first time while battling the axe of winter fuel payments. Those within the Foodbank believe that there are more people who are struggling but are too to reach out for help. Fast Food Chain to open Glasgow Store The Wendy's Company is set to open its first Scottish location in Glasgow city centre. Glasgow City Council has received an application from the fast food chain to open its first Scottish branch at 139 Sauchiehall Street. Nine planning application documents have been submitted, including plans to add Wendy’s signage to the entrance doors of the B-listed building and to mount a 70-inch Samsung display screen behind the existing window. Wendy’s announced its return to the UK in May 2021, with stores opening in Reading, Stratford and Oxford. Bosses said they hope to open around 400 restaurants across the country. Five men to appear in Court following Govan incident A group of men are scheduled to appear in Glasgow’s Sheriff Court today in connection with an incident that occurred on the 25th of October. Police Scotland officers were called to a premises on Drumoyne Road in Govan following reports of a shooting. A 52-year-old man was rushed to hospital and was said to be in a stable condition.
