When it comes to washing dishes, you have two options: handwashing or using the dishwasher. You might be surprised to learn that one method can actually save loads of water and time. That's right – the dishwasher is the most efficient choice when using an Energy ENERGYSTAR® Starcertified dishwasher! Plus, you can save even more by skipping the pre-rinse when using Cascade Platinum Plus. Procter & Gamble

Global Citizen is a movement using its collective voice to end extreme poverty by 2030.
About us
We are an advocacy organization dedicated to ending extreme poverty by 2030. We do this by encouraging people to learn and take action on our platform; those actions apply pressure on world leaders to make commitments around the issues associated with extreme poverty: gender equality, food security, education, the environment, global health, citizenship, and sanitation. We don't ask people for money, but to take action for the world’s poor. These actions can be as simple as a tweet, signing a petition, making a phone call, or sending an email. By taking action, these Global Citizens are rewarded with access and tickets to our music festivals and other events around the world. So far, more than 13 million actions have been taken by Global Citizens, leading to $35 billion commitments being made by world leaders, which are set to affect 1.3 billion lives by 2030.

On February 23, Germany heads to the polls, and to say there’s a lot at stake in this election would be a massive understatement. But one thing that must stay front and center for German leaders is Official Development Assistance (ODA). ODA is a lifeline, providing essential support to countries that need it most. Cuts to ODA mean more lives lost in humanitarian crises, fewer resources to combat poverty, and less action to tackle climate change. Germany has the power to make a difference—staying a global leader in promoting equality, climate action, and sustainability. Help us remind the next government that international cooperation is key to global stability, climate protection, and global health by clicking the link below: https://lnkd.in/ehwA6X4a

“If you want to shape the agenda, you have to go to where power resides.” Last week, Global Citizen was on the ground in Davos for the World Economic Forum. We met with leaders in government, the private sector, foundations, and the press to drive action to end extreme poverty. Our focus? Driving transformative change on 3 critical campaigns for 2025: 💉 Calling on leaders to deliver funds to help save the lives of 8 million children worldwide, working with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance ⚡️ Partnering with the European Commission and the South African government to scale up renewable energy across Africa 🌳 Campaigning to protect the Amazon, the lungs of our planet, and to drive urgent climate action in the lead up to COP30 in Belém Throughout the week, we hosted a dinner featuring a performance from Andrea Bocelli, conducted interviews with Forbes and Randall Lane, and co-hosted an unforgettable concert at the Forbes Dome hosted by Nomzamo Mbatha and headlined by Wyclef Jean and Aloe Blacc. A huge shoutout to our incredible partners Jamie Salter, David Beckham and Authentic Brands Group, Nir Bar Dea, Porter D. and Bridgewater Associates, Chuck Robbins, Francine Katsoudas, Brian Tippens and Cisco, Diego Scotti, Amy Bonitatibus, Tyler Spalding and PayPal, and Gianni Infantino and FIFA for leading the charge in building the movement to defeat poverty and defend the planet.

Water is one of the most precious resources on our planet. It helps preserve our eco-system, prevents health and sanitation issues, protects plants and animals, minimizes the effects of draught, and so much more! So, when we hear that there are simple switches we can do every day to conserve water – like running your ENERGYSTAR® certified dishwasher rather than handwashing your dishes – we are all ears! With Cascade and Procter & Gamble, you can develop sustainable habits at home – that help not only you, but the planet too!
