Sarah L. began her journey with Global Partners as a Sustainability Development Intern. Now, she's an Environmental Attribute Analyst in the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability department, where she focuses on renewable fuels and sustainability. What drew you to Global for your internship? I was really attracted to Global's willingness to explore sustainability development and the evolving energy industry. Global has always had a sense of openness to exploring renewable fuels and electrification, which I really appreciate. What was your favorite part of your internship? One of my favorite experiences was attending the Northeast Hydrogen Infrastructure Summit. It was incredible to be in a room where discussions were happening about the future infrastructure of Boston and how it needs to evolve to support hydrogen as a potential fuel. As a student, I normally wouldn’t have had access to those conversations, so it was an invaluable learning experience. Do you have any advice for current or prospective interns? Learn as much as you can while you're here. There are a ton of really smart people at Global who are great at what they do and happy to share their knowledge. If there's something you want to learn, go for it and ask. Take advantage of the opportunities around you. Sarah’s journey from #GlobalPIntern to Environmental Attribute Analyst showcases the growth opportunities at Global Partners and the importance of pursuing your passion. We’re proud to have her on our team, contributing to our sustainability goals. Learn more about our internship program and apply at https://lnkd.in/eZTCMaRi #GlobalPInterns #GrowWithGlobal

Jack R. began his journey with Global Partners as a National Sales Intern. Now, as a member of the Operational Support Group, Jack's role involves managing reserves allocations and account creation. What drew you to Global for your internship? Being from Connecticut, I was drawn to the Boston area and the investment Global Partners has made in an ever-evolving market. You can tell through every step of the application and interview process, what kind of company Global is internally, with great people and a strong sense of community. You can tell they’re very personable, and I felt it would be a great fit for me. What was your favorite part of your internship? The connections I made were definitely the most valuable part. In the business world, connections go a long way. Keeping in touch with people, even just briefly through the school year, always opens doors for new opportunities. Do you have any advice for current or prospective interns? Always offer a helping hand and act like a sponge, soaking up as much information as you can. Keep in touch with your managers, especially if you’re looking for a full-time job. Those small efforts can make a big difference. Jack’s journey from intern to a key player in our Operational Support Group is a testament to the value of internships at Global Partners. We’re proud to see how our interns grow and thrive within our company. Learn more about our internship program and apply at https://lnkd.in/eZTCMaRi #GlobalPInterns #GrowWithGlobal

As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together in 2024. This year has been one of growth, innovation, and connection, and none of it would have been possible without our amazing customers and dedicated employees. Here’s a look at some highlights: 🌟 Retail Milestones More than 40 million items purchased by our loyalty members through Fresh With Benefits and Alltown Neighborhood Perks! Top snack of the year? Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Loyalty guests visited us an incredible 5.8 million times—thank you for making us a part of your daily routine! ⛽ Energy Impact We fueled roughly 1 million automobile tanks per day and kept the wheels turning for about 40,000 diesel trucks daily. We’re proud to keep approximately 25,000 homes heated every day. 📈 Growth & Expansion This year, we expanded our reach with two acquisitions, adding five terminals to our network. From all of us at Global, thank you for making 2024 a fantastic year. We are grateful for your support and partnership as we continue to grow, move, and thrive with our communities. #YearInReview #LookingAhead

Bradley C. began his journey with us as a #GlobalPIntern in the National Wholesale department, where he quickly made an impact. After completing his MBA at Providence College, Bradley joined us full-time and now thrives as an Account Manager. How does what you studied in school relate to your position at Global now? A big part of my marketing curriculum was focused on customer service—getting to know your customers, what motivates them, and what they need from us. In my current role, setting up deals in a way that’s clear and understandable for both us and the customer is crucial, and that’s something I brought with me from school. In what ways did your internship prepare you for working at Global? Working with both the operational support team and the National Wholesale Group gave me a broad understanding of how these departments interact. My experience with the operational support team helped me see how we assist each other and work together to reach our ultimate goals. What advice do you have for current or prospective interns? Never, ever be afraid to ask a question. It’s something I can’t emphasize enough. Whenever I’m second-guessing myself, I know the answer is just one quick question away. Even if you think it might be a dumb question, 99% of the time it’s necessary to ask so you can fully meet the expectations of your job. Bradley’s journey from intern to Account Manager highlights the value of hands-on experience and the supportive environment at Global Partners. We’re proud to see our interns grow into full-time roles, continuing to drive our success. We're proud to support the incredible work of the Beantown Baby Diaper Bank in Lexington, MA. Through a company-wide diaper drive and cash donation, we helped provide approximately 30,000 diapers to families in need. The Beantown Baby Diaper Bank serves seven partner agencies in Waltham, Burlington, and Lexington, collectively reaching more than 350 children monthly. With 1 in 2 U.S. families struggling to afford diapers, and no government assistance to cover this basic need, organizations like Beantown Baby are a lifeline. Giving back to the communities where we live and work is at the heart of who we are. At Global, we’re committed to keeping our communities growing, moving, and thriving. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort and helped make a difference!

For the second year in a row, we were proud to partner with local non-profit organizations to support an incredible initiative: Thanksgiving Feeding for the Homeless in Houston, Texas. With Global’s $2,500 donation and the dedication of Tony W., Field Training Specialist, this year’s event provided meals to 450 people—an impressive increase from the 300 meals served last year. “This cause is near and dear to me,” Tony shared. “I know what it’s like to not necessarily have a meal every night, so this is my way to make sure as many people as possible don’t have to go through that—even for a day.” This year, thanks to our combined efforts with local non-profits, ten families who attended last year’s event were able to be placed in housing. To celebrate this milestone, we provided turkeys to each family for their first Thanksgiving in their new home. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Together, we’re helping build a stronger, more connected community. #GlobalForGood
