    Tips for Going Fractional I’ve been connecting with a lot of people interested in going fractional and wanted to share some key lessons—and what I’d do differently. My number one tip? Go after larger clients. When I started, I targeted small businesses, aiming to help them build a foundation for scalable growth. But the reality is, they often don’t have the budget. Plus, it comes down to whether the founder can truly delegate and trust someone else with a core function.     This week I had 2 very different experiences with cold inbound asking to network with me: someone who came very prepared and someone who didn't. Reminder: If you request networking time with an expert, come prepared. Avoid asking questions that could be answered through research. Here is a list of some no-brainer tips: - Look at LinkedIn to identify common connections - Read content they have written - Study up on the company they work for - Thoroughly read the job descriptions if you are networking about an open position With this context, you can then use your time wisely with thoughtful questions. Remember, your time is just as valuable, so maximize it for both of you!
