A Ph.D. candidate in Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Rachel is developing cutting-edge autonomous aircraft to revolutionize emergency response. Her team’s work aims to overcome the limitations of traditional helicopters and drones, enabling faster, safer disaster relief and public safety operations. With years of innovation and over $370,000 in previous competition winnings, Rachel combines technical expertise with a passion for making a difference.
