Certificate in Public Leadership and Policy CPLP The SPPG School of Politics Policy and Governance Class of 2025 just had their matriculation today. This was us back in November 2023 as #SPPGClassOf2024. We started off with the Acculturation Month, OMG!!! I can still feel the fire and Roarrrrr deep within me. In one month I felt like I could become the President and Governance in Nigeria would change for the better. Here are the powerful words of our CEO and Digital VC Madam Alero Ayida-Otobo Alero Ayida-Otobo "If you Truly Want to see Change, Start off by being One" that is the true lion spirit; that is how you ROAR. We all desire change and we all have a picture of that Nigeria we want, but one unfortunate thing we are good at as Nigerians is "COMPLAINING" that was a reality I denounced when I joined the SPPG. Ladies and Gentlemen I learned a lot, Unlearn a lot, and Relearn a lot. The wealth of knowledge packed in the Faculties lined up by the SPPG only made me ask one question, "Why are these people not in the political space with this knowledge, and passion?" If only they will, I be Nigeria will start tilting in the right direction. The 3 pillars of the SPPG are CHARACTER COMPETENCE AND CAPACITY the 3 C's and yes my Character has been fortified, My Competence and Capacity elevated to the peak. I am a conventional breed of Political leader fueled with the heart of service, full of empathy, equipped with the knowledge to birth policies and initiative that can change the Economy of my society. I would really like to thank Dr Oby Ezekwesili Obiageli “Oby” Ezekwesili founding SPPG. And like the Esu of Karu said, WE BELIEVE IN DR OBY'S DREAM FOR THIS COUNTRY NIGERIA. And yes we do. Also to our VC Madam Alero and our Dean Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi and all the staff of the SPPG. This journey would not have been possible without the Gerrad Olisa-Ashar of Gerrad Olisa-Ashar Foundation who offered me a fully funded scholarship, at the moment I was going to let go of the admission. Thank you I am eternally grateful. I am also proud to say I Ambassador/referred 4 Leaders into the Class of 2025. #sppg #fixpolitic #sppgclassof2024

  • Every great leader is defined by the principles they stand for. Imagine building the perfect governance system—where every decision shapes progress. Which principle do you believe is non-negotiable? - Transparency: Open books and earned trust. - Accountability: Standing tall when it matters most. - Inclusiveness: A seat at the table for everyone. - Responsiveness: Fast action when it counts. Drop your answer in the comments 👇 and tag someone whose opinion you value. #Governance #FutureOfLeadership
