Hey friends. Yesterday Flexie Inc. (Techstars ‘22) pitched at the MassChallenge Innovate Conference in Dallas, TX. Although we did not win the Community Choice prize, it was an honor to be among nine other companies doing impactful work in health and biotech. Congratulations to Olivia Adams at Cami Health for winning the Community Choice Prize! It was well deserved! I enjoyed hearing her personal story and how it intricately ties to her work! Thanks to MassChallenge for partnering with the magnificent MC 15 cohort companies to change lives and make the world a better place. It was also great seeing ecosystem leaders like Craig J. Lewis, Hemant Madaan, and Ranjan Misra. Flexie Inc. (Techstars ‘22) is honored to be a part of another great network of difference-makers!

As the work landscape rapidly evolves, skilled trades are vital in building a sustainable and resilient future. With the growing demand for construction, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing expertise, the skilled trades offer competitive salaries, job stability, and a practical and fulfilling career path. Yet, as a significant portion of the current workforce approaches retirement, an urgent need emerges to introduce high school students to these critical fields. Flexie is bridging this gap, connecting young talent with apprenticeship opportunities, and ensuring the continuity of these essential skills for future generations.
