Our founding team put in a lot of hard work on this version, and the results have been incredibly rewarding. Last week, LACI welcomed U.S. Representative Jimmy Gomez (CA-34) to celebrate $1 million in federal Community Project Funding that Rep. Gomez secured for upgrades to LACI's home at Los Angeles Department of Water and Power's (LADWP) La Kretz Innovation Campus (LKIC). Camilo Giraldo, founder of TAINR, developed his packageless technology platform under the La Kretz Innovation Campus roof. "By building my company under the LKIC roof and being part of the LACI incubation program, we have been able to gain competitive advantage by de-risking and developing our technology in a fraction of the time," said Camilo. Camilo is one of the many cleantech startup entrepreneurs that have benefited from the technology that the La Kretz Innovation Campus offers. While participating in LACI's Incubation program, TAINR deployed a paid pilot with one of the largest retailers in the U.S. Now they have their sights set on leading the #refillrevolution nationwide.
