GPU Audio has been working hard throughout 2024 to develop and expand the capabilities of our technology. We’d like to take a moment to update you on what we’ve been working on, what's on the horizon, and when new GPU Audio software will be ready… MNTRA Living Sky We announced an extremely exciting partnership with MNTRA back in January this year. ‘Living Sky’ will be the first GPU Audio product with them, marking the fruits of over a year of close collaboration. It’s been described as “a limitless universe of living acoustic spaces that expands the capacity to effect and transform sound into the realms of your imagination” - which you’ll soon be able to experience for yourself. Living Sky is set to be one of the most paradigm-shifting plugins for multi-channel audio, with unparalleled levels of audio manipulation for sound design, game audio, orchestral works, and sonic exploration. It’ll feature 64 channels of audio, with up to 22.2 Dolby Atmos Formats, with up to 5th-order Ambisonics and 15 simultaneous, dynamically-modulated reverb spaces. Living Sky is a supreme example of the vast potential offered by GPU Audio technology in the hands of some of the world's most talented, innovative, dedicated audio software luminaries. A beta version of Living Sky is due for release imminently, ensuring our users get the most fluid and accessible experience possible, before a full release in the following months. Be sure that Living Sky must be heard to be believed - we’re confident you’ve never heard anything like this! GPU Audio SDK LTS Version The GPU Audio development community is incredibly important to us - we’ve listened carefully to requests from audio developers who’ll be using GPU Audio technology in the cutting edge software of the future. Part of this development and support is the implementation of a Long Term Support version of our Software Development Kit (SDK) - the first publicly available version of the GPU Audio SDK Everyone can take and use this LTS SDK - it’ll be publicly available under an open-source licence which allows anyone to use it freely for personal use and evaluation purposes. If you’re ready to make the step to access the power of GPUs for your next-generation product, you may acquire a commercial licence by applying here. The GPU Audio LTS SDK will support a range of hardware on both Windows and Apple platforms, including NVIDIA, AMD, and M-Silicon GPUs, VST3 and AU formats, as well as any other format or use case the developer wants to support (AAX, standalone, etc.). We wrote about what this LTS version meant for developers, with some guidelines on the features and functionality that can be expected. Read the full blog post here: https://lnkd.in/eNQQwZeg

Reimagining audio processing for the digital future, through the limitless power of graphics cards.
About us
GPU Audio, INC (founded in Switzerland as Braingines SA) is a technology startup that bridges the world of GPU innovation with professional audio, through the world’s first fully capable solution for audio processing over GPU. GPU Audio’s novel approach allows for DSP (digital signal processing) to be offloaded onto the parallel processing architecture of GPUs at 1ms latency round-trip, allowing for truly next-gen features such as: limitless DSP plugin instances, remote computing and wireless/cloud processing, continuous audio rendering (no more exporting audio), and instantaneous results. Beginning with VST3 and AU functionality, we are redesigning the way DSP is handled so that developers and end-users alike can benefit immediately from the incredible power of GPUs to both enhance their existing products, and create the plugins and software of their dreams. Our mission is to provide a truly next-gen, qualitative level of performance for pro audio, and become the new standard of audio processing for the digital future across numerous verticals.
