Ready for a FREE JavaScript SEO course? Then you're gonna love this! Tory Gray and Samantha Torres are making the (sometimes overwhelming) task of JS SEO accessible, understandable, and prioritizable (see what we did there?) - so you can audit and fix your JS issues with confidence. Here are the details on the four sessions: 1️⃣ OPEN TO ALL: Identifying and Understanding JavaScript Content 2️⃣ OPEN TO ALL: How to Audit JavaScript for SEO 3️⃣ OPEN TO ALL: Prioritizing and Communicating JS SEO Issues 4️⃣ WTS MEMBERS ONLY: Hands-on JS Audit Clinic with Feedback Sign up here ➡ https://lnkd.in/gYR9SS_7 When does it start? The first session kicks off Sep. 3 at 11:00 AM EDT (that’s a Tuesday). How long does it last? Each weekly session (4 total) will last ~1 hr. Can anyone attend? Absolutely! This course (3 of the 4 sessions) is available to everyone, everywhere, of all genders. (Note that the final session, a live auditing Q&A, is exclusive to members of the Women in Tech SEO community.) How advanced is it? We’ll be focused on beginner JS SEO concepts and auditing to get you started. Keep in mind that that means intermediate-level technical SEO stuff, though! Do you need to prepare anything? Not in particular. The final session is a live Q&A (available only to members of Women in Tech SEO), but if you have a specific site or issue you want to talk about, bring those examples and questions. (We also recommend reading Sitebulb's 2024 JavaScript SEO Report: https://lnkd.in/eKkj_NiF) Where do you sign up?!? Oh that’s easy, go here: https://lnkd.in/gYR9SS_7 Hope to see you there!! 🎉 Thanks to the wonderful people at Women in Tech SEO and Sitebulb! Plus, hosting & introductions from she who needs no intro - the amazing Areej AbuAli.

If the idea of attending a conference stresses you out, I get it (spending money to hang out with a bunch of strangers in a new place? 😓) But I can also say from personal experience that conferences are great opportunities to meet amazing people, form beneficial connections, and make wonderful memories. Dani Leitner has some great tips to help you navigate the stresses of conferences and get the most out of the experience without feeling burnt out or overwhelmed. As we say goodbye to 2024, I know it's usually customary to celebrate the wins you've had over the past year. But for me, this has been a particularly challenging one. So that makes me want to share the things we didn't do at Gray Dot Company: 💩 We did not launch our brand design and new website (only 2 years since designs were finished....) 💩 We did not speak at Mozcon or BrightonSEO 💩 We did not close a deal with that super cool 50mm revenue/year company 💩 We had to pass on a lead for an awesome internationalization project due to tight timelines and limited capacity 💩 We did not launch any cool software tools (though we have SO MANY IDEAS) 💩 We didn't hit 50k followers on social media (in fact, we didn't even hit 10k!) 💩 We did not close any big partnerships, or get acquired for millions of dollars 💩 We didn't break any major industry changing news 💩 We didn't get featured in a major newspaper or by a cable provider 💩 No one wrote a screenplay about us (though Tory Gray and I are hilarious and totally worth it) Okay, that last one was pretty silly - but the bigger point here: "Comparison is the thief of joy." I am proud of my team and what we did accomplish this year. So remember YOUR wins, whatever they are, wherever you're at today. You deserve it. Cheers to a happy and healthy 2025!
