We bring people together.
About us
With nearly 500 businesses in our membership, we are all about bringing people together. Sometimes we do that in person. But the traditional ‘wine and cheese’ networking-type model isn’t what we’re about. Our focus is moving Haverhill forward – together. This is a very special place in a unique part of the world. We have everything we need to grow our economy by being inclusive and recognizing the strength in our diversity. We have made some important changes to our Chamber. Our programs, events and services are built to drive value for our members while also pushing our community to be forward-thinking and to understand what we need to do together to strengthen our small business economy. We believe that Haverhill has resources that set us apart from most communities: deep industrial roots, a beautiful downtown riverfront, a thriving manufacturing hub and a wonderfully diverse community of people from all different backgrounds. The Haverhill Chamber is all about bringing people together.

Supporting work that elevates the community is a key aspect to our role. We are so happy to celebrate the new Little Free Libraries in Haverhill thanks to the City and Haverhill Promise!
Today, we celebrated the opening of our new Little Free Library in Haverhill, a significant step in our collective effort to foster a love of reading and improve grade-level reading proficiency throughout the city. By providing access to books, especially culturally representative ones, we empower our children to explore new worlds and develop crucial literacy skills. This library, along with three other locations, ensures that all children in Haverhill have the resources they need to thrive academically. 📚✨✂️ We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners— The City of Haverhill, Haverhill Public Library, Haverhill Public Schools, Alexandria Eberhardt, MS, MBA at the Greater Haverhill Chamber, amazing community organizations like Tracy Fuller at the Haverhill YMCA, State Senator Pavel Payano, State Representative Ryan Hamilton, our teachers, parents, volunteers, early education providers, Kerry Beaton and businesses like Pentucket Bank, and more—whose support has made this initiative possible. Together, we are tackling the challenge of reading proficiency and creating a brighter future for Haverhill's children. Each book placed in these libraries represents an opportunity for growth and imagination, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact this will have on our community for years to come.
