By increasing Greenville Housing Fund’s lending capacity, the Impact Fund can provide the last-dollar-in support necessary to green-light a development Sometimes a project just needs a little extra help to get off the ground. That’s where the Greenville Housing Impact Fund (GHIF) comes into play. Greenville Housing Fund’s standard financing program has limited lending capacity, and occasionally can’t fully meet the needs of an otherwise well-conceived request. The GHIF extends that lending capacity to enable GHF to support the construction or preservation of more—and more deeply affordable—housing developments than we otherwise could. #greenvillehousingfund #yeahthatgreenville #gvltoday #youcangreenvilesc #greenvillesc #ghf #AffordableHousingForAll

GHF’s land reserve bank program was conceived to preserve fast-appreciating parcels in target neighborhoods that were traditional hubs of Greenville’s Black and working-class communities, for construction or preservation of long-term affordable housing options. GHF is positioned to hold land-banked parcels until strong, intentional, neighborhood-centric development partnerships can be crafted—with community groups, public entities, and/or private developers. Vacant land or properties containing existing structures can be donated as a charitable gift, sold to the Greenville Housing Fund in a below-market-rate bargain-sale transaction, purchased at a public tax-sale, or, when appropriate, purchased at market rate. #greenvillehousingfund #yeahthatgreenville #gvltoday #youcangreenvilesc #greenvillesc #ghf #AffordableHousingForAll
