The Ministry Of Health, Ghana has announced the launch of a national health database and digitized health facility platform, two critical strides in improving data accessibility across the country’s health care system. 🎉👏 The database, supported by the R4D-led Health Systems Strengthening Accelerator, was unveiled at an event marking the conclusion of the Accelerator’s six-year project. Government officials say the Accelerator has been key in advancing Ghana’s universal health coverage (UHC) ambitions and praised its Networks of Practice model. 🩺 We’re proud to have worked with Ghana’s Ministry of Health, USAID and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to make meaningful progress on expanding primary health care in the country, and we echo R4D Senior Program Director Dr. Linda A.
