Making a difference in the lives of children, families, and veterans in our communities.

About us

Heroes first annual charity golf tournament was held in 1997. Our goal was to raise money for charities within our community and it remains our goal to this day. That small tournament, 27 years ago, has grown into a two day event that helps heroes nationwide improve the lives of children, families, and service men and women. Big moments deserve big recognition! Sentry’s Executive Vice President, Ty Johnson, has reached an incredible milestone by graduating with his MBA from the Ourso College of Business at LSU this Thursday. Despite the demands of his new role at Sentry, extensive travel, and the rigors of completing his MBA, Ty has consistently kept his priorities straight focusing on what matters most: his wonderful wife, Callie, and their two precious daughters. The entire Sentry team couldn’t be prouder. Congratulations, Ty!

Meet Chance Gale, Project Leader, Tactical Safety, a Sentry Safety Company Chance's journey with Tactical Safety has been truly impressive. Joining as a Rescue Associate in 2017, he quickly demonstrated his dedication and hard work, earning a promotion to Rescue Lead in 2019. His commitment to growth and excellence continued to shine, leading to another promotion to Project Lead in 2024. Remarkably, Chance also holds the Tactical Safety Fitness Challenge record with an outstanding time of 10 minutes and 3 seconds. I met Chance at the airport this week. We did not know one another and had never met before, but we were scheduled to be on the same flight. Our flight was delayed for more than 6 hours. While waiting for a gate update, I asked a young man sitting next to me if he would mind watching my bags while I checked the status of the flight with a gate agent. That was when I met Chance. He was courteous and polite, responding with “Yes sir, I would be happy to do that.” After our exchange, I noticed a very familiar logo on his hat—he was part of our team. Bringing back service to the service industry is one of Sentry Safety's objectives. We want our team to be respectful, humble, polite, and courteous. Chance demonstrated all those qualities to a complete stranger at the airport. Kudos to Chance for his achievements and setting a stellar example! Sentry Strong!
