Happy to have an excerpt from my interview with Kimberly Peeler-Allen featured at Ms. Magazine! Peeler-Allen is co-founder of Higher Heights for America and board chair of the ERA Coalition, among so many other affiliations. We talked about what it would mean to elect our first woman president who is multiracial, which issues are mobilizing Black women in this election, the biases and barriers women candidates face, why it is important to elevate Black women’s leadership, the significance of the ERA on the ballot in New York, and more.

"We are going help Black women vote, run, win and lead. We are going to raise our voices to fight mis- and disinformation and talk about the work of #KamalaHarris. And then we’re going to vote, vote, VOTE! Because we were built for this moment..." -- Higher Heights President and CEO, Glynda Carr . Higher Heights was honored to participate in the 'Women on the Right Side of History', a powerful faith rally organized by The Woman Difference Collaborative, a group of Detroit women of faith, standing together in support of #KamalaHarris for President.
