Big news for HR professionals: A federal court decision on Nov. 15 struck down the planned increase in the salary threshold for white-collar exemptions, which was set to rise to $58,656 in 2025. The threshold now remains at the 2019 level of $35,568. The decision also blocks automatic increases and emphasizes the duties test over salary levels.
