How can we ensure history doesn’t repeat itself? By remembering, educating, and standing against hate. Guelph Hillel is leading by example all week long during their Holocaust Education Week, which features a slate of eight different programs. From candle-lighting ceremonies, to a Yad VaShem style exhibit, to survivor testimonies, Hillel Guelph is making a remarkable impact in their community. 👏🏼 “At the end of the day, knowledge is power, and is critical to creating a safer, more inclusive environment for Jewish students,” said Chaya Mamer, Ezra Jewish Education Fellow. Thank you, Hillel Guelph, for your commitment to combating hate and ensuring "Never Again’" is more than just a phrase. 💙 More about Hillel Guelph's Holocaust Education Week ➡️ https://lnkd.in/euAkzHQR.

A new semester isn’t complete without bagels, a trip to Hillel, and some schmoozing. 🥯 Brandeis Hillel welcomed back their students with a delicious bagel brunch, good vibes, and their first in-person meeting with the 2025 Student Board. 👏 Can you think of a more perfect way to celebrate the first week back? Because we sure can’t! It was a great way to reconnect, welcome new faces, and plan for an amazing semester ahead. ✨

Jordan Kekst, a student from University of Miami Hillel recently returned from a life-changing trip to Poland, where he traveled to concentration camps and bore witness to the horrors of the Holocaust. On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we reflect on the immeasurable loss and enduring resilience of the Jewish people. Today, we remember the Holocaust and honor the six million Jewish people and all those who were killed in one of history’s darkest chapters. As we reflect on this devastating history, we carry forward the stories of those who perished and those who endured — to fight hate, educate, and ensure that “Never Again” truly means never again. 🕯️ For more education and resources about the Holocaust: https://lnkd.in/ettBtCrm

As Rachel Goldberg-Polin, the mother of Hersh Goldberg-Polin reminds us, hope is mandatory. Hope is what helped us reach this moment where we joyfully mark the return of Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy, and Liri Albag to their families after more than 475 days. 💛🎗️ Hope is what we will keep alive so that the remaining hostages will be reunited with their families safely and swiftly. Bring them all home. Now.

Today, we learned the names of the next four women who will soon be released from Hamas captivity: Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy, and Liri Albag. Once again, we are filled with immense relief and hope as we anticipate the reunification of four more families with their loved ones after more than 475 days apart. While we look forward to this meaningful moment of reunification and healing, our work is FAR from over. Every single hostage must be brought home NOW.

High Point University Hillel came together on MLK Day to give back in a big way! In partnership with Greensboro Jewish Federation, Jewish students came together to make sandwiches for the unhoused, and donated them to local facilities in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy of service. This was a wonderful reminder of the power of community and Tikkun Olam! 🤲🌎
