HoloSurge HaDEA Project

🚀 Honored to have Jahn Otto Andersen present HoloCare at Digital Fremtid 2024 in Oslo, Norway! He shared insights on HoloCare and our big ambitions for the EU Horizon HoloSurge HaDEA Project —where we’re driving a consortium of 9 hospitals and 3 research facilities, including Oslo University Hospital and SINTEF from Norway, towards real-time holographic navigation in the operating room. Special thanks to SINTEF Digital and Aksel Faanes Persson for hosting, and to all the inspiring speakers who shared their visions for a digital and green future in Norway!

🏥 Checking in on our clinical sites is highly important, so we were back at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust with Børge Wiik Malcolm Luker and Jarl Erik Cedergren!   This time we got valuable insight to better understand the surgeons and radiologists routines for segmentation and using holograms in planning. We also did important preparations for the HoloSurge HaDEA Project project going forward. Big thanks to Prof. Peter Lodge and Mikołaj Kowal for engaging their clinical team to spend time with us to show us how HoloCare is used in their workflow and discuss upcoming features!

On June 26, ThrombUS+ participated in an EU online clustering event. The event was organized by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA).   In the beginning, HaDEA officials presented some general information for new projects, including guidelines for successful dissemination.   Then, the Coordinators of the projects funded under the same call (HORIZON-HLTH-2023-TOOL-05-05) were asked to present their projects.
