HomeAid’s mission is to assist people experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education. The primary way HomeAid achieves this is to develop housing projects, such as affordable housing and emergency shelters. Our Housing Program Coordinator position supports the housing director with the following: administrative coordination for projects from adoption through completion including project entitlement, committee meetings, facilitating communication between the trades, vendors and partners. The position also includes oversight of HomeAid-owned projects (property management, maintenance, program coordination and support to operators & volunteers), among other responsibilities. This full-time position is suited for someone with a background in construction and/or building management, with strong customer service and administrative skills. Contact us to find out more.

HomeAid Orange County's mission is to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education. HomeAid Orange County is the founding affiliate of the national nonprofit organization, HomeAid. Today, there are 19 HomeAid affiliates across America working to improve and expand housing and resource for people experiencing homelessness. In 1989, HomeAid Orange County was founded by the Building Industry Association of Southern California, Orange County Chapter.HomeAid primarily constructs housing for nonprofit service providers and public entities that serve people experiencing homelessness. The unique HomeAid model, centered around in-kind donations of labor and materials from building industry partners, saves a significant cost on each HomeAid-built housing project.
