Every person living in HomeAid-built housing has a story, including Bryon, a former marine who stayed at our Yale Navigation Center in Santa Ana. This Wednesday was our winter village at the CareCenter! Thanks to the efforts of our donors, volunteers, and staff at the CareCenter, this year we were able to bring holiday cheer (and presents - thank you MSI and Barclay Butera) to all the families staying at the CareCenter. Thank you, Sanctify Church, for allowing us to utilize your space to host the outpouring of gifts for the families, and Prospera for bringing gift bags for the families, and Lain Vaught and his group for making gingerbread houses (thank you, G Brothers!) with the kids! You made this an unforgettable night.

Happy Birthday Michael Battaglia!! Thank you so much for all your years of service, and the knowledge and leadership you have put towards our cause of ending homelessness, and for always stepping up to be an MC at our fundraising events! We hope you enjoy your day!

Thank you to all the amazing volunteer teams and donors who came to FX Residences on Friday for Stock the Pantry! In case you haven't heard - Stock the Pantry is a new project we'll be doing in support of FX Residences, the second HAOC-owned housing project. To better support the individuals moving into FX Residences, groups collect pantry items to help stock the shelves of each unit. What a great turnout! All 16 units, plus the manager’s unit, received supplies! This is an event we're planning to grow and continue, with additional opportunities spread throughout the year.
