The Wagster Treats team got the spotlight yesterday with a feature on "Made in America" with ABC World News Tonight. Wagster operates as a social enterprise of Homeward Bound, employing graduates of our culinary job-training program who are overcoming an experience of homelessness. An overwhelming response means Wagster Treats are temporarily sold out - please reach out with your orders after the holidays!

Ending homelessness with training, housing and hope.
About us
Homeward Bound of Marin is a community nonprofit with the mission of "opening doors to safety, dignity, hope and independence" and a goal of "ending homelessness with training, housing and hope." Homeward Bound is Marin County's main provider of shelter and residential services for homeless families and individuals, serving approximately 1,300 people per year in 15 inter-related residential programs. Our overarching goal is to end homelessness in Marin County. To that end, we offer supportive services designed to end homelessness in the life of every person served, whatever their circumstances.

We believe in the vision that dignified, safe housing is a basic human right, deserved by everyone. So it was wonderful to see Puett Place, our new 24-unit permanent supportive housing program for veterans, recognized for Community Impact by the North Bay Business Journal in this year's Excellence in Construction Awards. Veterans Program Coordinator David Brown, at right, joined Drew Fagent of ZFA Structural Engineers at last night's awards event. See more at https://lnkd.in/gW6suJJ9
