We loved reading Scenic Hudson, Inc. Hudson’s article about the Hudson Valley’s influence on music! The tradition of creating art as a means of connecting with nature stretches back for centuries. The late composer Pauline Oliveros who is mentioned in the article believed that “deep listening” was a healing practice that tuned the mind and body, unlocking a new way of interacting with the world around us. Oliveros was an enormous advocate for social change throughout her artistic and professional career, and it is superb to hear her ideas flourishing in the #HudsonValley. https://lnkd.in/e36nAKHK
