At this year’s American Advertising Federation's Western Region Conference 3fold Communications was awarded the Media Agency of the Year. This award celebrates the agency that has risen above the rest in terms of service, creativity, corporate social responsibility, culture, and growth. 3fold has come a long way in the past five years to bring paid media in-house and make it a major service offering for our clients. We used to shy away from it; bringing it into the fold only when we felt it was really necessary, and when budgets truly supported the effort. The majority of our client budgets were too small to even think about paid media as an option. Our VP of Media, Christie Pierce, MSC's, passion and understanding of the media landscape created new opportunities and possibilities for our clients to reach their audiences with important messages to help them make life-changing decisions about healthcare, education, new careers, and their daily lives. At the same time, allowing 3fold to continue meeting its mission of being community-first and contributing to the betterment of the world around us. Advertising is a heavy weight of responsibility. It’s a social and moral responsibility of how we portray cultures and demographics. It’s a fiscal responsibility to our clients. And it’s an ethical responsibility to keep our industry on the up and up. Advertising, media, marketing - whatever you want to call it - it’s our responsibility to do better and be better across the board.
