A National Science Foundation-funded program to transition technological discoveries into societal benefits
About us
The National Science Foundation I-Corps program helps researchers explore the potential for their discoveries to become products and services that can benefit society. • Researchers form teams and attend a 4-session program focused on identifying how their innovation meets customer needs. • Teams can include faculty, postdoctoral researchers, graduate students and/or undergraduates who are developing a scientific or technical discovery at any institution in the Northeast. • Researchers build relationships and gain skills in an inclusive, welcoming environment. • Promising ventures may continue to NSF's national I-Corps program and win a $50,000 small business grant. • Program alumni become part of the I-Corps entrepreneurship ecosystem and have access to resources across the Hub-member institutions.

Thank you for being one of our 25 poster presenters! We can't wait to see what's to come and hear all about it at next year's meeting!
Earlier this week, Kubarius and I had the opportunity to showcase KissUX alongside other founders at the I-Corps Hub Northeast Region’s annual poster session at Princeton University. It was wonderful connecting with inspiring entrepreneurs and sharing how KissUX empowers inclusive design. A huge thank you to the I-Corps Northeast Hub for hosting this event and to everyone who stopped by to learn about our mission to make digital products accessible for everyone. #InclusiveDesign #Accessibility #ICorps #PrincetonUniversity #DigitalInnovation

Thanks again very much for the I-Corps Hub Northeast Region supporting and galvanizing innovation! We at Lambent Data, Inc. have been happy to be part of this community since participating in Fall 2023. Lambent's Co-founder and CEO Kirsten Hund Blair was delighted to engage with many folks at the I-Corps Hub Northeast Region Annual Meeting Oct. 15, including Anne-Marie Maman, Dina Brewer and David Stengle (pictured R to L with Kirsten between the balloons!)! It was also terrific to talk with many others, including Victor Lee, Mark DeGuzman, Sandra Gomberg, Yazmin Feliz, Ph.D., Michael Ehrlich, and Digant B. Davé. Other highlights included various panels, including one on the Future of Innovation -- with Michelle Cote (Moderator), Christine G., Elizabeth Rossi, Gillian D. Francis, and Kwaku Abrokwah, CFA, FRM (pictured L to R). Princeton Univ. Engineering professor and Vice Dean for Innovation Craig Arnold also gave remarks and introduced a lively reception that closed the event. Many thanks to Christine Pellicane, Jatanie Jonas, MBA, Vanessa Calu, Diane DeLorenzo, Neal Bituin, Walida Ali, Sylvia Okoye, Stasie Ryan-Bicek, and others for their organizing efforts!

Very inspiring event yesterday at Princeton University where the I-Corps Hub Northeast Region held its second annual meeting. The gathering shed light for me on the numerous yet different funding opportunities available for researchers aiming to transition their IP into a business, but also highlighted the challenges that founders may face in navigating this. The presence of - and opportunity to interact with - stakeholders from education, business, and research was a powerful demonstration of “ecosystem-building” in action. The event emphasized that such collaboration is not spontaneous but requires concerted effort and dedication to build, nurture and maintain these links. Kudos to Christina Pellicane and the broader team for their outstanding work in getting the event together! Very inspiring! Learn more about i-Corps at: https://lnkd.in/evBJKyzd
