We help balance social, economic and environmental priorities by assisting municipalities with efficient service delivery through public-non-profit partnerships and regional service agreements. Our services include: Building and Community Development, Energy and Sustainability Services, Disaster Planning and Recovery, Quality Assurance, as well as Compliance and Risk Monitoring. IBTS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia with branch offices across the country. IBTS’s work is guided by a Board of Directors made up of government officials appointed by five of the most highly respected state and local governmental associations, including the Council of State Governments (CSG), International City/County Management Association (ICMA), National Association of Counties (NACo), National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center), and National League of Cities (NLC). Last week, we had the privilege of attending the presentation of the 2024 Puerto Rico (PR) Business and Consumer Confidence Indexes, commissioned by the PR Chamber of Commerce and conducted by Estudios Técnicos, Inc. (ET) and NielsenIQ. These studies provide business owners and entrepreneurs with valuable insights to make informed decisions and adapt to today’s #marketdemands. The event also featured a special tribute to Jose J. Villamil, founder & CEO of ET, and Former President of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Villamil, a valued collaborator on several IBTS projects, was recognized for his outstanding contributions. Congratulations, Joaquín, on this well-deserved honor! SCDRP is a cross-sectoral, multi-disciplinary regional network for resilience professionals from federal, state, territorial, and local governments, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector, focused on the U.S. Southeast and Caribbean region—including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
