Our sincere congratulations to Daniel Szafranski, Sinja Ulrich, Robert Bredereck, and Andreas Reinhardt for securing the best demo award at #IEEELCN 2024. They presented an exciting approach to automating LoRaWAN coverage assessment using bicycle-mounted transmitters and route optimization. Their work provides valuable insights into how we can streamline sensor network deployments in real-world environments. 🌍📶
What a nice surprise! Our work on #LoRaWAN coverage map generation based on optimum path planning was awarded with the IEEE LCN Conference best demo award. Joint work between Technische Universität Clausthal's energy informatics lab (Daniel Szafranski and myself) and our algorithms group headed Robert Bredereck. With substantial help from our student assistant Sinja Ulrich who helped with data collection
