The Illinois Manufacturers' Association and the Illinois Manufacturing Caucus are ready to get to work in the legislative session. Special thanks to the four co-chairs of the caucus: Senator Senator Cristina Castro, MBA, State Senator Sue Rezin, Rep. Justin Slaughter and Rep. Amy Elik for their leadership. We have a full year of meetings planned on key topics and some fun tours planned!
The IMA was pleased to announce the formation of a new bipartisan and bicameral Illinois Manufacturing Caucus last year - we're looking forward to further educating members of the General Assembly this year about the critical role manufacturing plays in the state’s economy and advancing issues important to the industry, ranging from education and workforce development to energy and tax policies! https://ow.ly/cXz350UEI42

Illinois Manufacturers' Association reposted this
The Illinois Manufacturers' Association is proud to partner with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to help grow jobs and investment in Illinois. We were proud to participate in trade missions to Canada and Japan, collaborate and offer guidance on the state’s five-year economic plan, partner on the recruitment of PsiQuantum and development of the new Quantum and Microelectronics Park, recruit other manufacturers and more. Team Illinois led by the Governor, Intersect Illinois, DCEO and many partners are aligned and working together. Illinois has come a long way. There are always challenges (budget and energy) but Illinois is open for business and I’ll put up our attributes (location, colleges and universities, workforce, water, infrastructure, transportation system, national labs, and more) against any state in the nation. #BeinIllinois #MadeinIllinois
2024 was a fantastic year for Illinois’ #EconomicDevelopment. Under Governor JB Pritzker's leadership, Illinois has made recording-breaking achievements in the tourism industry and #quantumscience while topping national economic development rankings.
