Illustrious Lab will be at the French Institute of Scotland Institut français d'Ecosse - French Fair this Saturday, November 23! Illustrious Lab sera à l'Institut français d'Ecosse - French Fair ce samedi 23 novembre! Illustrious Lab is a French Design Lab that collaborates with partners in Scotland. The Lab conducts research activities using a Design Driven Innovation approach. It builds as well on a dedicated approach around the potential of using co-creation to generate innovative and sustainable solutions with and through design and illustration. This activity is organised as a Lab, a virtual laboratory that invites collaborators from different fields. During the French Fair, the Lab will present: - their DECO-ENCO pilot project - (DECODING-ENCODING) with local sustainable wool, explores the nexus between traditional (Nordic-Scottish) knitting patterns and coding. Pilot supported by Nordisk Kulturfond (Illustrious North). https://lnkd.in/dJ-7FHxk - the AUGMENTED-FASHION project with Harris Tweed Hebrides - Virtual exhibition. The Augmented Fashion project’s aim is ‘to determine how immersive interactions can be used to communicate the experience and value of creative, artisan fashion and textile products, with a focus on culture, provenance, heritage, the human hand and sustainable clothing consumption’. Today, on the #worldchildrensday, we participated in the symposium 'School Uniforms, Dress Codes & Public Responses' organised in snowy Aberdeen, Scotland, by the University of Aberdeen , The Glasgow School of Art and ACORSO GIS . We had the pleasure of presenting the results of the Tell Me research project 'When clothing becomes a tool for learning, communication and self-expression in early years and primary education' under the IN2FROCC international research group with Dr Aude Campbell Le Guennec FRSA and Anne-Charlotte Hartmann-Bragard #StudioAbi . Listened actively and appreciated all the presentations of the seminar, masterfully orchestrated by Rachel Shanks and Dr Aude Campbell Le Guennec FRSA. Fruitful connections and discussions as well as collaborations to come. Thank you again for this invitation and opportunity!

The Anna Lindh Foundation ALFinMotion - Creative mobility project has ended with creative sessions and workshops with children in Paris and Marseille, in France, around the experimental creative work carried out. We also had the opportunity to present the mobility project as part of a series of joint projects: 'CREATIVE PERSPECTIVES - Creativity for innovation & development - CCIs mentoring', during the EU Creative Skills Week.
