Calling on all leaders to share best practices. Leading with love is a leadership approach that prioritises compassion, empathy, and understanding in guiding and motivating others. It involves nurturing positive relationships, showing genuine care for the well-being of team members, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. What practices do you apply in your day to day to support this approach and how has this impacted teacher productivity & in turn, children's outcomes?

Dear School leaders, Here are some light-hearted tips to keep your & your staff's sanity this term! 1. Host a "Survival Kit" party for teachers, complete with coffee, chocolate, and a motivational playlist titled "We Will Survive... This Last Term." 2. Institute "Pajama Fridays" where everyone, including staff and students, can rock their comfiest PJs to school. Just make sure it doesn't interfere with any dress codes! 3. Declare a "No Homework Day" for a random Wednesday. It's like a snow day, but without the snow! 4. Organize a "Power Hour" where teachers and students can take a break from the usual routine and engage in fun, energizing activities like karaoke or a dance-off. 5. Set up a "Complaint Box" that's actually just a suggestion box with a clever sign saying, "Got a complaint? Write it down, crumple it up, and aim for the basket. Let's see if it makes it in!" Remember, laughter is the best medicine, especially during the last stretch of the school year!
